Weight Issues Network Logo

Weight Issues Network (WIN) is an Australian network formed by those whose lives are affected by overweight or obesity, and are committed to breaking weight stigma. The purpose of WIN is:

“To provide a strong voice and support for people living with and affected by obesity.”

WIN is raising awareness around the challenges and needs for additional support, providing evidence-based education on obesity, fighting weight stigma, bias and discrimination; while creating a community of support, allowing people to share their experiences.

WIN is striving to shift the national debate around overweight and obesity towards something that is more informed and compassionate to those affected. If you would like to know more about the good work that WIN does, you can visit their website.

WIN recently released their 2020 Report – The Personal Costs of Weight Issues in Australia. If you would like to read the report, you can view or download it below.

Becoming a member of WIN is free and actively encouraged. If you would like to join the network click here.

BMI Calculator

BMI is a useful tool for calculating whether you are a healthy weight for your height. If you enter your height and weight below our calculator will provide you with your own BMI. BMI is an effective measurement tool, however it is only one of the factors we look at when examining the relationship between someone’s weight and health. If you are concerned about your BMI please get in touch with one of our helpful team today who will be happy to discuss this with you.
