Gastric Cancer

Gastric cancer (also known as stomach cancer) is cancer developing from the lining of the stomach as gastric growths.

Gastric cancer can be effectively treated by using endoscopic techniques such as endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and simple laparoscopic techniques.

Gastrectomy

A gastrectomy is a partial or full surgical removal of the stomach. A gastrectomy is carried out for both benign and malignant (cancerous) conditions. Depending on the reason for, and the type of gastrectomy, it may be performed as an open laparoscopic or robotic procedure.
